Our ancestors new the magical power of the Moon over all physiological process and performed different health and beauty therapies according to the Lunar phase and position in the sky. In this way they managed to maintain and improve a wholesome body without the expensive, fancy products we use today but only through following the natural rhythms of Nature.
Luscious and copious hair was the most attractive and feminine symbol so a lot of special attention was given to it. It still is and has the most magnetic pull on men! Some of you might remember your grandmothers saying that if you want a longer hair you should cut it only on a growing moon. Well this is not a myth but an ancient and long proven beauty tip. I have tried it my self and was exhilarated by the results, having in mind that my hair has always been a touchy topic for me. So, if you want a quickly growing and strong hair, make sure you always get your cuts between a New moon and a Full one. The closer to the New moon, the faster the hair grows. If you prefer to add fullness to your hair, but not so much length, then have it cut closer to or on the Full Moon, but never after, as the then the Moon starts to decrease in light and so does the strength of the hair. If you are striving for a full, luscious crown of hair, never miss the days when the Moon is in Leo-the royal mane speaks enough for the power of that sign. The days of Taurus are also great for strengthening the thickness of the hair—this sign is the most solid and nurturing one.
